What communication channels does Mochi support?
Mochi allows you to chat with your customers through text messaging and web chat . You can respond to either channel through the Mochi dashboard on your computer or through text messages on your phone.
Do I have to be online to get the value out of Mochi?
You don’t have to sit at your computer all day to get value out of Mochi. If a customer sends you a text, you can respond via text on your phone. If you’re not able to respond, Mochi’s automated responses can share information with site visitors on your behalf. Additionally, Mochi can capture site visitors name and email address, so you can follow up later.
Do I talk with my customers or does Mochi talk with my customers?
You talk with your customers. Mochi enables you to provide amazing service to your customers and website visitors, but we do not do the chatting for you.
Can I customize the Mochi widget to match my site?

Does Mochi save past conversations with customers?
Yes, you can always go back and view past conversations with previous customers. Additionally, you can see the visitors who are live on your site right now.
Does Mochi provide chat bots?
We’ve found that most eCommerce store owners want to interact with their customers directly and provide a human touch. So Mochi does not provide chat bots. We do offer a number of automated responses that you can edit yourself. This means that your customers can interact with you even when you’re not available.
Can I use Mochi even if my shop is not on Shopify?
